That’s right! ZeldaBlog, the Blog about Zelda that you all love and cherish, is back. For those who may be newer to the community, ZeldaBlog is a community blog, showcasing Zelda based articles, written by members across the community. Originally opening in 2005, ZeldaBlog was popular site in the community, before inactivity resulted in it’s closure a year ago. While there would be no new articles, it would remain as an archive of all the articles and posts put into it over the years. A server crash a few months later removed it for good. ZeldaBlog would be sorely missed by many across the community. April 2008. It started as a discussion amoung several webmasters: The idea of a new community blog, providing the same type of service ZeldaBlog had in the past. As the discussion grew, it became clear a new blog wasn’t needed when everyone still loved the ZeldaBlog of old.
Thus it was decided to revive ZeldaBlog. Continuing the site where it left off, while at the same time making it harder, better, faster, and stronger. The result is what you see before you, a revived site ready to kick some *Navi* As with any reopening however, there are bound to be some changes, and this is no different. First: While the founder of ZeldaBlog, TML has decided to move into more of a contributor role, leaving the administration of the site to myself. I will be running most of the behind the scenes business, the endless tweakings of the code that will go unnoticed, I’m sure, by everyone but myself. Second: ZeldaBlog is now generously hosted on LegendofZelda.com’s server. It’s not a change you guys can really notice, but it’s a change nonetheless. Chance from LoZ.com will be handling the technical side of the site, including backups. Third: We will be adding as many of the old posts we can find to the new site. This will take some time, so please bear with us. And Last, but not least, are our new contributors! You may recognize them from websites across the community. They are:

Finally, if I may quote a section of TML’s original opening post, two and half years ago: “ZeldaBlog is a community site designed not only to bring news, opinions, and discussions to the fans of the community but also to help promote unity within the Zelda community.” That was the purpose of ZeldaBlog when it first opened. This is marks a great day in the Zelda Community, the reopening of the once holy Zelda Blog, no wait, it’s still holy *bows to the blog* will give the community a chance to revert itself to the good old days, when Zelda sites were peaceful and less hectic.
This home away from home, will serve as a fountain of fun and laughter as well as seriousness and distinct reality.
But nevertheless, the blog will once again thrive, as renewed interest and many new fans, will come across the blog and think hey, this is a good idea, i might contribute.

But yeah, it’s been a long time since I’ve actively taken part in the Zelda community–kind of fell out a few months after Zeldablog’s fall…I survived only thanks to the Anti-Chapel, a Castlevania community, similar in quality to this place
But, I always felt different, dwelling among the Castlevania fans, few of them into Zelda ( *gasp* 
) But now, I can share my true opinions with the world, without feeling different 
I will, however, have to get used to the tags, instead of the [] ones. And, as a small side-note, I’ll have to start usin’ them *navi* tags, this not being centered on a 13+ series and all <__> <_<

I am no exception to this circle of revived users. ZeldaBlog had become a second home for me, and two years later, it is no different. After ZeldaBlog was closed down, I had created my own blog for people to come to in case they still had hope. This was Zelda Heaven, but it wasn’t so for very long. My viewers dwindled, and I almost lost everything. But, now that ZeldaBlog is back, I can raise my head again, in the knowledge that I have a haven to look forward to. I thank Nayru for this.

Hello everyone! I was previously known as Sniper on ZeldaBlog. Not many may remember me, as I was only a part of the community for a short while. Alas, that has changed, and I think I speak for everyone when I give a big thanks to all of those who have devoted their time, energy, and thoughts into the rebirth of this site. This is truly a dream come true. Also, I’d like to take the chance to thank you, TML, because your determination for a way to bring together fans in a safe environment is what inspired me to create my own blog: Super Mario’s Blog. When I was checking Zelda Dungeon I was surprised to see Zelda Blog as part of their Zelda Dungeon Alliance! So I had to check it out.
